Bucks Fizz won the Eurovision Song Contest in 1981 with 'Making your mind up'. The line up has evolved over the years until we have today's line up of Bobby G, Heidi Manton, Tammy Choat and Paul Fordham.
2011 see's the 30th anniversary of that Eurovision Song Contest win and in this book, Steve Jacks takes a look at the group's life on stage and off with his totally exclusive photographs and comments from the band themselves.
As Bobby G himself says:
"In my opinion it’s better today than it ever was… It’s more efficient, has more commitment from everybody involved and now there are four people all pulling in the same direction that all want the same thing. Whatever the type of work we are doing, we are just having the best time doing it. We have a wonderful time just doing what we do. The fact that I love this and I still really want to do it, that, for me, is the greatest achievement.
I actually love my job. I love what I do. I just like being creative. I’m just trying to do my job and be the best that I can be at any given time.
I think that close harmony requires close friends and I think the group has evolved into very close friends".
